Nightmare of Shadows

This is Nightmare of Shadows, a small creature that is a manifestation of the fears that people think of at night. It has the 'ower' to morph into anything that can be feared by someone.

Character description:
Name: Nightmare of Fears or Nof or NoF
Sex: male
Age: 11
Height: 3 feet or 0,9m

Nature: mischievous, with a tad of verocity mixed in.

Ability: NoF is a creature that absorbs the fears of the entities it eats making it possible to morph into those fears. Dragons, monsters, etc. all belong to the repetoire of NoF. Taxes, etc. belong to the fears of grown-ups, so they do not belong to his repetoire. The only things that remains permanent are the three claws on his hands, the two claws on his feet (with the 'fur' growing over the all the claws), the gassy endings on it's head and 'tail' and his teeth and red eyes.

Personality: NoF belongs to a very special species that has long been forgotten by many. The ability of the species to remain alive, is measured by it's ability to eat. What it eats and it's first meal, determines in what it can morph and how well it can survive. For instance: NoF himself eats small children and the first child he ate was a sleeping child with a nightmare: thus he became a fear-feeding creature, a creature that could morph into anything it's victims had ever feared. His diet has led him to know nothing but fear, though he knows how to handle it and by handling it, he has become the mischievous and ferocious thing that he often comes by in the fears of the children he ate. That said, even he will put away some of his attributes if he has to, for instance work together, to survive, though he will try to avoid this at all costs. He would rather eat his teammate than work together with him, if he can win on his own.

Strengths:
* Having eaten literally vast amounts of children, NoF can change into a vast amount of fears.
* Knowing that children often haven't overcome their fears yet, NoF can 'collect' multiple transformations from one child.
* NoF has the ability to only morph one section of his body (increase the amount of teeth for instance).
* Is not limited by density, size, weight or any other 'natural attributes', he can change them at will (according to the chosen transformation)
* Even when not morphing, the original form has sharp fangs, claws and decent strength.

Weaknesses:
* Knows only to morph into fears of past victims, new forms of fear can only be found as he consumes.
* Strenghts and further abilities are limited by the forms he changes in, for instance: birds can't breathe underwater, so NoF can't breathe underwater when he has the breathing system of a bird.
* Having a diet of children, he can only morph into the fears of children.
* Despite being able to morph, others can still recognise him by the 'non-changing' elements of his body (considering that they know of these elements).
